EPISODE 29 SHOW NOTES
Welcome to the NEW, (re)branded podcast, the Somatic Mother!
If you’ve been here for awhile, you may know this was formerly Instinctive Birth and Beyond: the Podcast. I’ve been going through a LOT of shifting and expanding in my life recently, and I knew that needed to happen with my podcast too. Like so many other mothers, I found myself just going, going, going, and I wasn’t allowing myself to simply pause. I felt myself being disconnected from my body, and I knew I needed to change that. Finally, I allowed myself to EMBRACE the pause, which led me to share with you the topic of today’s episode-less doing, more being. Welcome to the Somatic Mother-I’m TRULY grateful you are here!
In today’s episode about less doing, more being, I’m talking about:
- Learning to embrace the ‘pause’ in order to connect with our bodies and be fully present
- New opportunities that bring us out of balance, so we can realign and regain balance moving forward
- The mantra of ‘less doing, more being’ that continued coming up for me
- A recent, personal loss that led to a rebirth experience for me
- Allowing myself to release and let my body just ‘be’
- Embodiment in motherhood (and why it’s both beautiful and necessary)
