I'm the mastermind behind Tiny Ties, Big Impact! I am so happy to meet you. Here is a little bit about me and why I created this course:
I have background as a former pediatric and labor & delivery RN before I became a holistic practitioner in 2019. I now own my own massage therapy practice, Prima Natural Wellness, where I practice as a licensed massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, perinatal yoga instructor, infant massage instructor, and childbirth educator.
On a day to day practice, I work as a Prenatal and Postnatal Massage Specialist, an Infant and Pediatric Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy Specialist, and Adult Craniosacral Therapist.
Inspired by my own challenging experience after my third son's birth in 2020, I created this course for parents facing similar struggles that I did with breastfeeding and oral ties.
Despite smoothly breastfeeding my first two children, I encountered numerous difficulties with my third, including sore nipples due to a difficult latch, his refusal of the bottle, colic, and a deep mental and physical toll.
This experience opened my eyes to the power of bodywork in addressing infant challenges, leading me to not only apply these techniques to my son but also become a trained infant craniosacral therapist and myofascial release specialist to help other families going through what I did.
Understanding the mental, physical, and emotional toll that many parents and babies face daily secondary to oral ties, I created this course to make this journey a little more easeful, and a little more empowering for you, as the parent, and a little more comforting for your baby at home.
This work is so important to me, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching parents the incredible, and easy to learn, hands on bodywork techniques at home!
